DFSR is one of the most well-known cultural exchange organizations in Germany. Since 1978, we have given hundreds of young people the opportunity to discover new countries and cultures. Every year, we send German students on High School, Language and Work Experience programs and welcome foreign students from all over the world to stay in Germany for an academic year or a short-term homestay.
In the Heart of Germany
Superbly located in the heart of Germany, DFSR in Heppenheim is the ideal place to learn the language that opens so many doors. The “Bergstrasse” area is named for the gently sloping line of hills which runs through it, separating the Odenwald forest in the East and the vast open plateaus to the West. Heppenheim itself is a charming market town, full of twisting alleyways, half-timbered houses and cobbled streets. From our building, you have a lovely view of the vineyards, the 900 year-old Starkenburg Castle and the cathedral.

DFSR is a member of the DFH (recognized association for exchange organizations), the WYSTC (The World Youth Student and Educational Travel Confederation) and of CSIET (Council on Standards for International Travel Confederation).
